Where It All Began
When John Firth founded BCI WA in 1994, he brought with him a career and a passion for exceptional service and industry standards. A Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, John had spent decades working across the UK, Barbados, and Perth. Through his own construction company, John became a key figure in the restoration of around thirty historical buildings in Barbados.
That hands-on international experience gave John a simple but powerful insight: property buyers deserved access to independent, expert inspections carried out by people who truly understood how buildings were put together, and more importantly, where they go wrong.
