BCI WA Recommended Trades List.

This list has been part of our service since we began. Helping new home builders, homeowners, investors, real estate agents, property managers, and strata managers is central to what we do, and we’re often asked for trade recommendations. This list has been included with our building inspection reports for over 24 years, and some of the tradespeople on this list have been running successful businesses since before 1994.

A recommended trades list and a building inspection report go hand in hand. Our inspectors identify defects, and this list provides buyers, sellers, or managing agents with a starting point of who to contact for quotes on the services required.

BCI does not receive referral fees from any tradespeople on this list. They are included because we’ve encountered their high-quality work during our building or pest inspections over the years. Please contact them as you would any tradesperson and obtain three quotes to ensure consistency in the services quoted. Our recommendation is not a guarantee of their work.

The order in which they appear reflects the typical order in which you would need them when building a new home. Keep this in mind when selecting the trades you require. You can also cross-reference them with your report as they are referred to by their trade number.

This list is a work in progress, and we will continue to update it to ensure its relevance. If you come across a business that is no longer operating or has not met your expectations, please let us know so we can ensure only high-standard businesses are included.

It’s important to check with your supplier that they have up-to-date insurances.
